Balance Enclosure / Fume Hood
The new Ductless Workstation is a horizontal flow hood that is highly effective at containing fumes, vapors and powders. The front sash opening is 10" high offering an extremely comfortable working area while maintaining a high degree of operator protection. The hinged sash can be opened to a full working area of 36" wide by 16" high and still offer a high degree of protection.
Internal fans draw a constant flow of air into the system. The combination of filters contains powders and fumes before returning clean, filtered air to the lab. The top, sides and front of the unit are made of clear acrylic allowing natural light inside the hood. The open design eliminates the claustrophobic feeling created by many standard fume hoods. The workstation’s is made from steel for strength and durability.
