The system fragments the stones while simultaneously aspirating the emulsified product. Large stag horn calculi, distal ureteral stones and large bladder stones are treated safely and effectively using ultrasonic vibration with irrigation. This action of ultrasonic vibration and irrigation keeps the clinical site a safe and moderate temperature. The suction action that takes place has a dual role of preventing stone movement as well as minimizing tissue trauma. The Ultrasonic Lithotripsy System offers three mode selections that allow the user to choose the precise ultrasonic vibration amplitude that is ideal for their specific procedure. The ergonomically designed transducer ensures a proper handhold and minimizes fatigue and utilizes reusable probes for renal and ureteral applications. The easy to use system is designed so that all connections to the generator snap securely in place.
