Frequently asked questions
My low airflow alarm is going off, what's wrong?
Most often it's simply a dirty pre-filter. Check your pre-filters every 3 months and keep a spare on hand.
How long do filters last?
Filter life depends on how often you use your ductless fume hood and the amount of chemicals evaporated.
How do I know if I'm using the correct filter?

Replacement Filters
Misonix is the only source for filters to be used in our Ductless Fume Hoods and all filters are manufactured in our Farmingdale, NY facility.
Please be aware that other manufacturers are attemping to sell replacement filters for use in our systems. Due to our proprietary filter chamber design, sealing method and carbon granual sizing, alternative filters cannot guaranteed your safety. In addition, using non-Misonix filters will void your warranty.
